We have worked with Martin from Bishop Building Projects since 2009, and have built numerous websites for Martin over the years. Bishop Building Projects is his main business and we have provided maintenance and support for this website since its launch.
The previous website was built using html/php and featured a bespoke php CMS system that was well past its use by date and no longer being updated,
Martin had expressed a wish the landing pages for London SEO were maintained to hold the rank and a better way to display the gallery was found. He directs all prospective customers to the gallery and uses it as a brochure for recent work. We also added some call to click buttons that would help customers call directly from the website.
This was essentially a re-skin and conversion to WordPress and was made easy as we had all the written content, images and access to the old website.
Martin found the final design pleasing and was very happy wth how the website now displayed correctly on a mobile device. He also was pleased with how the gallery looked and could be viewed on a mobile device.

We all know reviews add credibility to what you do in business and the more reviews we have from our customers the better. But its so hard to get your customers to do this for you, its not they are unhappy with what you have done, simply they get busy and move on to different things.
So an easy way to do this is to have a great follow up procedure in place that asks for a review once you have completed work for any customer.
I use a great tool from Whitespark that makes getting Google reviews so much easier and the best bit is, you can send your customer a link in an email, then all they do is click on it and leave you a great review.
Step 1: Go to the Google Business Review Link Generator – http://bit.ly/2AvhDCj.
Step 2: Enter your full business name in the top left of the map in the field that states ‘Enter Location‘.
Step 3:Select your business name from the list that appears (if it does not appear, there are instructions on the page to work round this).
Step 4: Scroll down the map and copy your link from the box under the map – click on the right hand button, ‘Copy Short URL‘.
Step 5: You now have a link you can post on your website or paste into an email to send to your customer for a great review.
This is a huge conversion factor in Google and I would not want you to miss out on this simple neat little trick, try it today and let me know how you get on.

We have worked with Gary from Chase RV Electrics Burntwood since 2011, when we built and hosted his very first website. We approached Gary with an offer to update his website to a fully responsive website and give him an easy way to update his content regularly. Moving to WordPress is the perfect solution for this conversion and will give him a mobile responsive website that will make it easier for his customers to learn about Chase RV Electrics services.
The previous website worked very well for Gary. It was built and designed in conjunction with Dave Cotton Graphic Design and used html/php.
The main thing Gary liked about the previous website was the easy to view pages, the colours and the overall look and feel. He really didn’t want a new modern swooshing website that was altered and looked significantly different from what he previously had.
Having all the main content and images made building the layout a straightforward task. Gary supplied and rewrote the main written content and added additional services whilst refreshing his previous written content.
To keep the design as close to the original as possible we added a main top navigation menu with a header photo underneath to suit each page. We used a right hand sidebar to list all the main services so they would be visible on every page and added a news page (blog) to allow Gary to keep his customer updated with what projects he is working on.
Gary was really pleased with the end result and more impressed with how his new WordPress website looked on a mobile phone.

Trent Valley Tyres (Rugeley Tyres) WordPress website conversion
We have worked with Neil from Trent ValleyTyres, Rugeley for over 10 years and were delighted when he accepted our offer to freshen up his website and convert it to WordPress. This would allow Neil ease of management, responsive design and a better web experience for his customers.
The previous website used html/php and worked very well, but now Neil needed to compliment his eCommerce tyre website provided by GT Tyres one of his suppliers. This website was working well for online tyre purchases and tyre appointment bookings.
Condensing 20 pages of content into one webpage is no small job, but this gave us the opportunity to remove old outdated content and have the bare minimum Neil needed to keep his SEO ranking in place and give the customer the information they required. Of major importance was the integration with the eCommerce website and the inclusion of the tyre selector tool. This would allow a customer to enter in their registration number, and then it would select the correct tyres for their vehicle. The customer would then be taken to the eCommerce website where they could purchase tyres and book an appointment slot.
Using a one page design allowed us to place the important content, like services, tyre brands, customer gallery and contact details in easy to view sections. This helped break the content into rows for ease of reading, and using the tabbed section for the services, condensed 10 old pages into one section.
Using some of the latest photos from FaceBook we added a customer gallery to show off the vehicles and satisfied customers. The final sections included a contact form, address details and some customer testimonials.
The whole website was tied together with a main navigation menu across the top and a back to the top button on the bottom right hand side – to make working your way through the website an easy task.
Neil was really pleased with the end result and delighted we had managed to integrate the Tyre Selector Tool into the main parts of the website.
